University of Toronto's Microprocessor Systems Lab provides students with hands-on experience with building, programming, testing, and debugging processor and FPGA-based systems. For example, systems that students build may incorporate audio, video, various input devices, and LEGO robots. There are 26 microprocessor stations in each of the lab rooms (BA3135, BA3145, BA3155, and BA3165), for a total of 104 stations. There are also 10 stations available is the design center (Sanford Flemming basement room SFB520) for design testing.
We highly recommend that all students read the "Do's and Don'ts" Lab Guide.
